Car builders and enthusiasts from all over the country convene to compete for the top prize. The show's popularity grew in the 1980s and '90s and continues to this day after 60 years of exhibitions.
In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show is held and hosted by the Automotive Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee (ADAMM). Participating carmakers include General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota and Nissan, among others.
The Houston Auto Show, which is held in Houston, TX, includes car debuts from dozens of well-known car manufacturers.
The New York International Auto Show is held in Manhattan where it's been a major event since 1900. Each year, over a million attendees visit automotive conferences and over 100 exhibitions hosted by carmakers.
